When you sign up for any of these classes you will be required to submit a form. This form will be submitted after the initial communications, as well as before the payment for both the class and the materials. In this form you will specify which particular kit you would prefer, if you would like the instructor to purchase these items. These kits will include the basic 'curiosity' necessities as well as your own chosen media. For these kits we give credit to John Muir Law for his intuitive choices and recommendations. THE MINIMALIST
The Minimalist kit contains:

The price will vary depending on your chosen materials from the differing kits. When purchased by the teacher, this kit will have a fluctuating price. In comparison, the others will not vary as they are fixed amounts. Though we do recommend purchasing the Prismacolor Copy-Not/Col-Erase non photo blue pencil # 20028.
Mandatory inclusion, Curiosity kit (These items can be used for all lessons, it is recommended to compensate for the instructor to purchase these items. Although the client will be sharing them)
- Hand lens: 10x Hasting triplet
- Magnifying box
- Small pocketknife
- Goniometer
- Small ruler
- Retractable inch and metric measuring tape (Preferably lightweight measuring tapes, from either hardware or sewing stores).
- Compass
- Glue stick
- pad of transparent tape
- Close focus binoculars. The Pentax Papilo 8.5x21 is renowned among nature journalists.
NOTE: Remember to bring a backpack or some form of bag to carry your supplies. Additionally, we highly recommend bringing a water bottle filled with water.
